i know i haven’t been around much the past couple of weeks, but i just realized that my blog turned 10 years old! i don’t remember exactly when i started because at some point in my history, i went back and deleted some of my early posts (on topics like wayfarers and cage heels) out of sheer embarrassment. but i’m pretty sure i started in the later part of 2008. i’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, like the age of blogging before instagram, the tumblr years, the birth of my two children. and calivintage in it’s many different forms has taken me from a kid sharing silly outfit pictures on my rooftop in oakland to getting a legit job in the fashion industry, traveling to nyfw every season, and literally getting paid to wear fancy clothes i never even dreamed of being able to wear?! these days, things are a bit more quiet, but i’m still here and i’ve still got big plans looming on the horizon. i don’t know what the next 10 years will bring, but i can only hope it will be half as amazing and challenging and rewarding and complicated as the last 10. and i hope you’ll continue to follow along on this journey with me! https://ift.tt/2KM4hnX
